Looks like a Miller to me, a 60's-70's Sho Bud knockoff. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

I love the aftermarket handles! James Morehead has handles that are probably in the original style. |

That most definitely is a Miller, and the handles are not an after-market add-on. The handles were standard on Millers. FWIW I just ran into Roger a few weeks ago while playing at the rest home in Lacon IL where he has been residing for several years. His Alzheimer's is pretty well advanced now and he doesn't really remember much about steel guitars or having once made them (in nearby Chillicothe IL).
That guitar appears to be in fine shape!!!

I don't know about the mechanics, but the Miller guitars sure have nice looking cabinet wood and inlays. They give Sho-Bud some stiff competition in the 'eye candy' department. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) _________________ Sho-Bud Pro III + Marshall JMP 2204 half stack = good grind! |
