Joe, If I'm not mistaken, I believe that most all the ShoBuds models made after the introduction on the Super Pro was made in the Super Pro style. Duane Becker

This one is rare.
The later models of LDG had a shorter body, and no gumby keyhead, but they still had the 3/4" step, and the endplates were different, as they didn't go from the bottom of the front apron all the way to the top.
The screws that attach the endplates to the body are internal here, while they are on the outside of a standard LDG. The construction of the body is different, too. On the standard LDG's the front apron started about an inch below the top piece, and here the apron goes all the way to the top.
The placement of the inlay here is also SuperPro style. While the regular LDG's had ProII style inlay placement...with the top inlay about 1/2" down from the top of the apron, and the bottom inlay all the way flush at the bottom of the apron, SuperPro style inlay is about 1/4" away from both the top and the bottom of the apron.
And no inlay on the neck, either...
Sperzel tuners, too...
Sho-Bud made quite a few custom jobs over the years, and this looks like one to me. Like you said, it's an SD10 version of a SuperPro with an LDG decal.
I think it's cool. What's the story behind this one?

I have to say, I really like the look of the neck without inlay. Understated and very tasty. How does it sound?
