Just did a search on the forum & found a lot of info on what looked like the Fender catalogs of the 50's, with pictures & detailed write-ups. But, couldn't find any price listings of the 1,2,3, & 4 neck Stringmasters. Can anyone post a picture that's readable of a 50's Stringmaster price list? Would like to know what my '57 Stringmaster cost, way back then. |

Thanks a million, John! I guess the prices included the case? I see the legs were extra. Believe it or not, this is the first time in all the years since 1957, that I found-out what my Dad payed for his 4 neck. This goes in my Stringmaster file.
Hey Hugh, are you going ga-ga over this great info! I am too! |

Mee too... I've got two guitars (D8 and T8) from that period... cool to note it was about $110/neck, $10/leg.
Also nice to finally know where the 1000 got its name!
That was an awful lot of money back then. |
