Have a good gig, Mickey. But I gotta ask, I've been all over Luckenbach many hundreds of times over the last 40 years and I never noticed anything resembling a landing strip. Where you gonna park that 737?

Man, I can't believe he's 90. I've witnessed more than once, his barrel roll and dead-stick landing in the Shrike.

Armstrong/Cernan.... the first and last (so far) men on the moon.

Sounds like a real BLAST !!!!

Wow, I have seen Bob perform two times. What a gentleman and great pilot.
Also Mickey, my best friend has picked steel with your friends from Florida and became friends with Mel Tillis through them.

In my opinion, Bob Hoover is the best airplane pilot to set foot on Earth. Bob Hoover is to aviation, as Buddy Emmons and Jimmy Day , are to the steel guitar.

I thought we had finally debunked this fantasy. It was a good Hollywood production though.

So with all the things we put in space yearly...all the probes to the outer planets...Deep sea diving to 7 miles...you're one of those guys that thinks we really didn't go to the moon?

If it had actually been done, then one must ask why it hasn't been done since, with all the money spent on NASA. There's just too much evidence to the contrary. Things like the Van Allen belt would have required a capsule so thick to prevent radiation, not the flimsy capsule that allegedly made this feat. Sorry, Mickey, but no sale on the moon landing.

Sorry Dennis I was one of thousands that helped those guys get there. No question that they did. I would've given my right arm to have been one of them. You really think they could have fooled literally thousands of us - but whatever makes you happy.

Mickey. Awesome company you keep. Very cool man.

Wow Mickey,

We just missed you guys- I played at the Heart of Texas show in Brady, Tx and on the way home we stopped at the airport in Fredricksburg and sat on the rocking chairs in front of the hotel and watched planes. They had the restaurant closed for a private function. I don't know if it was for those guys or not. I even had my picture taken in front of the lady in the club that is right behind Bob Hoover. It thrills me to think I walked in my hero's footsteps.
