Hello all, I have been searching the archives for a conversation about a run toward the middle of the song Your Man by Josh Turner which was masterfully played by Steve Hinson, but cannot locate it. It almost sounds like a minor run but not really?? If anyone could point me to the conversation or explain the run to me I would greatly appreciate it. I think I remember reading that it was a Buddy Emmon's lick originally? Thanks

Hey Joel, there are some B and C (harmonized) pedal stuff going on there and then towards the end of the brudge, he does a run on strings on 35 and 5 with the B anc C pedals. Is this what you were asking about?

Steve is a wonderful steel player and you should hear him play guitar!

p.s. His wife sings a rendition of "Together Again" that will bring a tear to a glass eye.

Thank you,Sid...you are very kind!

Sure do miss seeing your smiling face around town...not to mention getting to hear you play!

Seeing and hearing you was one of the high points of the Nashville Cats reunion a few years ago...

It's great to see you around the Forum...there is a lot to be learned from a musician of your caliber!
