OK, so it looks like someone wants to buy my guitar as an SD-10.
That stock placement of the knee lever cluster on a Classic makes 1-5 less than ideal.
The 1&2 raise will go left of A and the Franklin Drop will go right of C
I'm just wondering whether using 2-6 (A,B,C therefore on 3,4,5) would be more comfy than using 3-7 (A,B,C on 4,5,6).
I know from playing it that 1-5 is icky. I think I'm leaning towards 2-6
Does anyone have feedback? _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

I find it's a lot easier to move a couple of knee levers than it is to move/reconfigure all the floor pedals. (But that's just me.) |

On a Classic, the LKL is fixed, because the lever and reversing link mount on the rear apron.
Since I lack a drill press and wouldn't freehand all them holes to move it (and tapping them), I think rodding up a simple set like that would take less time than taking the guitar to a shop with the toys and tools. And certainly less time and money than ordering freestanding *KL brackets from Michael Yahl and waiting on them to arrive.
The only real drawback to those old MSAs. Other than the weight _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Your prices are reasonable. I should know, I've paid a bunch of them . And shipping time is quick.
But 30 bucks (IIRC) and next week pales besides free and 45 minutes. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
