I just want to give a shout out to Carl Williams for his really cool Big Wrench, a great help for fine adjusting the nylon tuning nuts on all-pull guitars.

They look like the standard tuning wrenches we're all accustomed to, but the wheel is 1.5 inches in diameter which makes minute adjustments of finicky nylon nuts MUCH easier. I was having a little bit of a time getting a couple nuts happening with my LeGrande today, but a quick touch up with Carl's wrench made the day.

I normally don't spontaneously "leg hump" Wink someone's product gratuitously, but I think this product is worthwhile and I just thought I'd mention it since it really helped me today.

I have to agree. Once you try it you will wonder why you never thought of it yourself. Good product and good service as well.

I have 3 of them and would hate to be without one. It makes tuning a snap. Jack

I too have 2 of Carl's BIG wrenches and I would recommend if you don't have one, to put in your order. Cause they are the coolest wrench you'll ever own.

We have two, one for my Franklin and one for the Wife's GFI.

Actually, we have (or had) three, I just can't find the original one I used with my Franklin so I ordered another. I think I loaned it to someone and it never found its way back.

Talking about making a person's day! Herb, your comments are very much appreciated and I'm so glad that the wrench is helping you to keep your "herd" of great steels in tune! Likewise, to all of you who have posted your praise and comments on the wrench. I'm happy that this better "Mousetrap" has contributed to Pedal Steel in a small way. My heartfelt thanks to you all...Sincerely, Carl
p.s. Now, back out to dig one more hole for the wife/boss for a new Rose Bush Smile

I don't post much anymore but let me pile on here and join the band wagon. I've been meaning to get one of these for a real long time and this last blast of talking about it got me off my duff. It is totally, exactly what Carl and everyone else says it is. Nobody "needs" one. The old mouse trap works. This one works better. I'm glad I got one and I thank Carl for the great product and the great communication. Good job.

Jon,
Seriously, most of us that's been around for at least half the life of this Forum miss your input and I'm very appreciative of your positive comments on the wrench. By the way, had another Brooklyn Steeler order a wrench today, so there's at least two in your area just in case you lose yours! ha Anyway, thanks again for everything you've contributed to us over the years here...Carl
