Digging the sexy vibe. It makes all the difference in the world to the performer, too. I had a talk with Rick Alexander once and I expressed my feelings to him about the conference room setting and how it wasn't necessarily conducive to musical performance, but you have to make do. Good job, much improved!

That's Bruce Chappelle on bass....Bruce and Steve Alcott have been the bass players for The PSGA show for the past 15 years......

Thanks guys, I was having trouble downloading the photos. Every time it failed I put less and less text because I got tired of rewriting the same sentence etc etc

Thanks, Mark for posting the nice photos by Kristy.
FYI--Photo 4 is Linda Wright (not Margie Mays).
Photo 5 is of the Cajuns: (L to R) Richard Comeau, Joe Rogers on accordion, and Junior Martin on guitar.

In the last photo, the device next to Billy Robinson appears to be a Boss RV-3 digital reverb/delay pedal.

Hey Brad, I just noticed you listed Kevin and Billy out of order.
7. Kevin Brown
8. Billy Robinson

All we'll need is Van Manakas and we'll have the entire rhythm section of The PSGA.......

In photo 4, with Linda and Carco (and Linda's husband's shoulder on bass), on acoustic guitar, that would be me -- I prefer to think of myself as "highly obscure" rather than "unknown", but what the hey, it was a great time. Rose Sinclair with Reese was spectacular as were the Cajuns. "Bob", in the photo with Kevin Brown, is forumite Bob Blair, who killed on a Benoit in the no-pedals room Saturday a.m.

That was my first TGSA and while I came for the pedals, my hat's off to the organizers and performers in the no-pedals room -- the variety and quality of music was remarkable. If only they could invent something that would let you be in two places at once ...
