Does anybody have any short pieces (Less than an inch) of the old Sho-Bud style rope binding that they wouldn't mind mailing me. I've got a ding in my Bud's front apron I'd like to try & repair with it. I could buy 3 feet of the stuff from constantines.com for a little over 14 bucks delivered, but that seems like more trouble than it's worth. Thanks

That inlay is known as B-71. Williams guitars have this.
Bill Rudolph may have a small piece he would send you. Give him a call. 763-753-8645

I took a piece from behind the key end, end plate. I used a utility knife and shaped and glued it into place. It turned out pretty good.
