Fender 8 string 4 pedal. What would be a good price to pay for this guitar including case?

Probably $500-$750. I should probably also add that this is not a recommended guitar for most beginners. It requires a certain "mindset" to not be bothered by it's limitations, and very few players today have that mindset.

On the other hand, with a little help it would make a nice C6 rig.

Looks like the steel I sold on E-Bay,about 5 years ago. Got $400 or $500. If there is little filled holes on the pedal bar that I filled where a 5th. pedal was it was mine. It was a sunburst, bought it in 1964. Joe

I set it up to A6th. Pedal 1 lowered strings 1 and 4 A to G# pedal 2 lowered strings 3 and 7 C# to B. Pedal 3,string 3, C#to D. Pedal 4 String 2, E to F#. Would have liked to have a knee lever to lower the E's to Eb. Joe

Joe, Bob Carlucci on the forum knows a guy who makes nice knee levers for old Fenders. The pictures looked good anyway.

I hope he's in production by now,, Not sure.

Last I talked to him, he said he is going to start getting kits made up... A couple good working levers under that 400 would transform it into a very sweet old steel, that would be playable anywhere....bob
