It's on offer.
£6.99.
No leads needed.
Works perfectly.
Here are my settings, for Newman.
iPad Peterson Steel Guitar Tuning as per Jeff Newman Preset
F# = +6
Eb = -5
G# = -3.5
E = +10
B = +8
G# = -3.5
F# = +6
E = +10
D = +6
B = +8
I have tested it with my Peterson rack tuner so I think it's pretty accurate.
I think the iPhone tuner is the same, as long as it shows the cents....
Ignore the strobe.....
Brilliant app... |

For those who cannot find it:
It is called " iStroboSoft HD Tuner "
and not "Peterson iPad HD". |

Android guys: while I use a Petersen stomp, I prefer the Cleartune app over the Petersen. By a long, long way. (iPod user) |

Hey David, thanks for that info. Do you mind listing the rest of your preset notes? B |

I agree with Marc. On the iPhone the Cleartune is the best in my opinion. It`s programmable and visually stable and easy to read. I have different presets programmed for psg, dobro, lap steels. Easy... Cost 3$ or something like that. _________________ Olli Haavisto

Olli,
Do you plugin to your guitar, or just use the phone's mike, and if the latter, doesn't amibient noise effect it? |
