Happy to announce that Mike Auldridge is making the trip with us to Dallas. Check out the Beard suite upstairs and down the hall.
It is always amazing to hear Mike up close and personal. Oh yeah...we'll have guitars so come by and play them all (and maybe take one home )
Carroll Benoit and I are also putting together a little resonator guitar show and tell. I'm sure Mike will be around for that as well. Check the schedule once you get to the venue for time and room.
I am mighty excited!!

I stumbled into a jam session in the Benoit room last year that Mike Auldridge was involved in. What a great privilege to be able to watch him perform in such a relaxed, close up session. _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

So much fun, so little time.... It was great seeing everyone again. thanks Brad for your help with my reso Fri, and Bob too, and of course, you Howard. I knew I wasn't just hearing things. It is in Mr. Benoits, very capable hands as I type. Thanks again, you guys.
It's always great seeing Mike again. I just wish I had gotten to hear him play. Next year, Mike. Thank you so much for always encouraging me to keep playing.
Howard, I always enjoy our Sunday morning chats. As for that guitar with my name on it...seems I'm short a few goats, but give me time. They multiply quickly, sort of. lol Soon as I figure out how to get rid of those pesky nervous, jittery, shakes, my goal is to sit in on some of those jams. Why is it so hard to play in front of people? Looking forward to next year already. |

I tried 3 time to get close enough to Mike to just say hello, catch his eye, flash a smile, but no I could hardly even see his face for all of the folks crowding around him. So I took the opportunity as it came to me, the mens room at the airport, gate 18, he saw me, I saw him, we kissed and hugged, he ran to his flight, I ran to mine, maybe next year.
