Just when I thought I had figured out the progression of the old Oahu (Kay) Tonemaster steels, along comes this one. It has the old late 30"s radio dial plates on the tone and volume controls, but I do not think I have seen this pickup before. Maybe this model didn't last too long?

I just found this late 30's(?) Oahu catalog page posted awhile ago - thanks MLA! It is not a Tonemaster, it is a Bridget. It sold for $50 rather than $55 for the Tonemaster in the same catalog. I am guessing these where much more rare, as I had never seen one. I wonder who the Bridget and Diana were named after?
