What's the function of the Booster input on the back of a Session 400 (1976)?

It is not an input. It is an output that is unbalanced and with a nominal output of about 1 volt RMS, as I recall. Designed to drive an external power amp. |

Thank you, Ken, for the fast reply.
Are there any schematics available to build a power amp input for the Session 400? Could the schematics of a 400 ltd be used as a guideline?
Regards from over the Atlantic

None that I know of exist for that particular amp. You could use the schematic from the N400. Intercept the cable from the preamp board that goes to power amp board. Then wire the cable from the preamp board to the new preamp out jack. Then wire a cable back from the newly installed power amp in jack back to the power amp board input. |
