MSA and "Steel Guiter Nashville" is presenting a big time "free for all" jam session on July 5th featuring Maurice Anderson, Randy Beavers, "Hall of Famer" Billy Robinson, Tommy White, Doug Jernigan and many other great players. Starts at 12:00 noon at the Italian Grill Club,(in front of Steel Guitar Nashville). Bring an appitite, all you can eat of the finest Italian food for only $4.95, plus you get the worlds greatest entertainment! Obviously.

After this steel guitar extraganza, we all move to Donelson to the American Legon and a serious pedal guitar slugfest will proceed with some of the worlds greatest pedal steel guitar players doing the honors. Russ Hicks, John Hughy, Weldon and who knows who else. One great steel show after another!
New motels are available close and reasonable.
Email me for any help you may need.
Seeing Reece and Randy, (along with some of Nashvilles finest backup musicians), play the "Super Slide" will be reward enough to walk here if you have to. The food is great too!
See you all then, this one will be a guden'.

It will be worth it! Some of the greatest talent in the world of steel guitar are going to be here, and all the other of the greatest are also invited.
If you are a great player and want to play , just let me know, I'll see that you get a chance to show your wares. Paul Franklin, this means you too! Maurice would love to see and hear you play, as would we all.

Well I guess I'll have to pack up the car, fill the tank and make the 1/2 mile trip to the show. See you on the 5th.

Hey, Bobbe;
I'm one of those great ‘Non-Pedal’ players, and I'd like to play! Remember, you told me yourself? Can I play a few tunes? I'm cheap and I can be had for peanuts, if they're shelled!

John, you know you can play! Absolutly!
You didn't even have to ask. We'll count on you playing that song you know all the way through! (Ha! Ha!)
I'll look forward to your being there, you will be in great company.

Bobbe-
Not that this Jam needs much publicity, but I did add it to www.steelguitarshows.com.
I have directed anyone seeking further info to this page, or to the NTSGA site.
You folks have a great time and please let me know if we can help anyone needing to promote a steel guitar show in their area. We also promote steel guitar shows on SteelRadio.com each week.

Jeff, Thank you so much for your support. I recieved your email and will be in touch after my hectic "Fan Fair" week in Nashville. Maurice may also want to say something on this. Thank you Jeff, this is going to be a wonderful day in July.

It looks like several folks will be in on the 4th of july so I'm sure we'll also have a "Jamfest" then. So as of now it seems that the forth and fifth of July is going to be a great "Slide Off" session.
Thank you to all of you that are showing so much interest in this super special event. Remember, this is for you! NO CHARGE!!!! Yep! A very rare freebie!
The area is loaded with great motels from the interstate in Goodlettsville (exit 97) to Hendersonville itself. Most are new and very reasonably priced.
I want to see everybody at this double show. Yes, Two shows! Hendersonville in the morning and afternoon and a pedal steel show in Donalson in the afternoon, again featuring some of the worlds greatest players.

Bobbe!!!
Is it true? I heard a rumor that you were gonna play a medley of your hit at the slide off! Aw heck, you could even play two songs while you're at it!

Tony, Randy Beavers has an incredible chromatic tuning that he's using that gets him about every great imaginable chord in existence.
And as you all know, Maurice always has gotten every chord there is!
I'm square with a slightly modified A minor seventh, no chromatics.
I think Tommy White doesn't care, he just plays incredibely on anything he touches!
Jernigan uses a C6th with one chromatic on top, and I'm sure you will see Billy Robinson use his weirdo, but great tuning (I don't know what the heck he's doing!).
We will all enjoy you being here Tony.

Lem, what hit? Ha!

Just the first place will be video recorded. Should be a great tape, SMOOOKIN'!
A lot more fun to be there though. Remember this, the tape costs money, attendance is FREE!
See, it's cheaper to go and see it live!
It may be hard to capture all this magic on tape, you guys should be there, Great Italian food??????? Tape won't capture that!
