First Thank you to Patty & Billy Phelps for putting this on each month. They do allot of work seting up and cleaning, as well as organizing.

Lee, Thanks for making the report. And those pictures really help with the story. Sorry I had to miss this one. Looks like it was a good one. I truly think Billy Phelps is among the best who ever played the instrument. Bum Phillips, when asked if Earl Campbell was the only one in his class, Bum said, "no, but it don't take long to call the roll." Likewise with Billy Phelps. |

Yes. We had a great time. As you can see from the pictures, we had David Hubenak on his Mullen D-10, Randy Boyd on Mullen D-10, Billy Phelps - Carter D-10, and Randy Herndon - Emmons D-10.
Other guests were Larry Schoppe on bass & vocals doing a wonderful job on Heart of a Clown and other good tunes, Jay Fielding singing The Lighthouse, and James Harvey with Different Kind of Flower.
Thanks to Jody Sanders from starting our monthly meetings. He really has a heart for the steel guitar.
Our next meeting is Sunday May 6th. We still need a featured player if there are any volunteers.
