Chuck Lettes’s E9th Steel Guitar Seminar at the Saluda Steel Guitar Show
When: Saturday, August 13 from 9:00AM-12:00AM
Where: Saluda's Shriner's Club.
What: I will be conducting an E9th Seminar for players of all levels. Part of my seminar will focus on creating effective practice time. The other section of my instruction deals with working up steel guitar arrangements of popular vocal/instrumental tunes, similar to the columns that I write for the Pedal Steel Guitar Association’s Newsletter. I will provide each participant with a CD that includes not only the rhythm tracks and the steel guitar parts, but also detailed audio instructions on how I arrange the specific tune. I also will provide the steel guitar tablature for each arrangement. All participants are encouraged to bring their steels, a music stand and amplified headphones.
How Much: $50.
Registration: Please send the check/money order to Chuck Lettes, 3215 W. Farmdale Road, Englewood, Colorado 80110. You can also contact me for more information at (303)-797-1134.
Please pre-register with me so that I would be able to provide each participant with the CD and music.

Chuck, thanks for posting the details of your seminar.
Chuck is a great teacher, as well as player, and we consider ourselves VERY fortunate to have him coming to Saluda again.
Also featured this go-round will be Larry "Wimpy" Sasser, most famous for his work on the old "Nashville Now" TV show, where he was house steeler.
Good food, tons of fine local players, jokes that ain't real funny---you can't beat the fun at Saluda! I may even bring MY steel, and who'd want to miss that???
Make plans now!

Not too soon to start making plans for the August show! Charles or I will be announcing some changes to the way things have been done---STAY TUNED!!! The Saturday night jam is gonna be a whole lot bigger and better, and hopefully, Sundays will be a little smoother, too---shoot, I may even get to sit down! (Don't tell Charles Reece!)
Make plans now to attend both days---and sooner or later, I'm gonna bring my steel, and who'd want to miss that???
OK, in alphabetical order...
