All of a sudden, my 'puter will not bring up any of the links on whick I 'click'.

Is there an answer?

Yes: reboot

If no happy happy, try using a different brand of browser.

If still no happy happy, scan for malware

I can't thank Wiz enough and equally as much b0b....
for this valuable assistance here on the SGF.

I had rebooted several times and alternated between
Slim Brouser and Explorer here on my Win2000 but kept getting all of the error messages.

Following your suggestion, I jumped in and installed
OPERA and everything works like brand new! How 'bout that!
