Harold and Betty Russell, managers of the
Historic, Fiske Theatre, wants to let everyone know that the doors are always open to the steel guitar community for future events of the AR-LA-MS, Star's of Steel Guitar Showcase and Concert. Harold and Betty relay their thanks to all players who participated on stage and to all those
in the audience that made for the success
of the event. I also want to note that it was remarked of the high ceiling of the
auditorium, "look how ya'll have raised the roof here, today!". I personally want the thank the management team for their their very tasteful displays of vintage guitars and musical paraphernalia.

Hi everyone. This is Dana, Austin Stewart's mom. My mother (Donna) usually mans this forum but she is gone fishing and they wanted me to pass their "Thank You's" along. We all really appreciate the invite. I was not able to be there but from what I have been told, they had a WONDERFUL time with you all down there in LA. Thanks also for allowing Austin to be a part of the four pickers on stage after their set. That gives him practice of playing behind a singer and practice playing songs he has never heard. The only way to learn those skills is to just do it. Thanks for giving him that opportunity, he had a blast.

Thanks Ken for coming! I gotta tell you this; I overheard a group talking and one said "Man That Kenn Rollans plays a steel like it is supposed to be played!!" You can tell he wasn't a real redneck, they would have said "Man that Rollans feller can FLAT A$$ play a steel guitar!! See you next time!
