Yes, June 5 - this coming Sunday!! Just talked with Skip Mertz - he is coming. Also, Allyn Love (Steve Warner's steel player for the last 12 years) now lives in Raleigh, and has said he thought he could make it. He is a super picker.. hope to see you..

Glad you will be here Kenny! With Kenny "the legend" Dail coming, the show is complete!! Good turnout is already assured...Think I better get my note pad and camera ready...gonna really steel some steal licks at this one (or is it vice-versa?)

Just heard from Ron Wells who is the steelman for the Crystal Coast Jamboree in Morehead City, and he is coming to his first MASGA event! Plus lots of other new faces...Looks like this will turn our to be a popular event. Also, Allen Howington is coming. Skip Mertz will be there early, along with Hank Williams to get everything set up. Its going to be fun...

Had a great time yesterday at the event. Skip, Bowie, and all the guys played great. It was nice seeing Glen Lanning & Kenny Dail again. I'd never met Ron Wells before but he's one hot picker. This boy's fast! I liked the comments about some hot licks couldn't be played unless you were sitting on a Walker Pac Seat. Ol' Ray makes the best one out there and about 80% of the players had 'em.... The biggest thing there was Ray's belly ....LOL, just kiddin' Ray.... Ray had a small old Yamaha amp with one 12" speaker that he got in a trade which sounded wonderful. I couldn't believe the sound of that amp. I might have to look for one of those babies.....Have a good 'un...JH in Va.
