I have been asked to announce the First Annual AR LA MS Steel Guitar Jam and Concert will be held at Oak Grove, LA June 4, 10:00 AM til ???, at the Historical Fiske Theatre. This is a first for this area. Jack Matthews will be the featured guest. Oak Grove is located in NE LA, convenient for the AR LA MS area and a good place for a show. Steel players, singers backup folks etc. are needed. If you would like to participate, your invited. Email me or reply to this post and I will pass it on.

The Oak Grove Jam is on! Plenty of room on the list. Good pickers coming. This is a good place to get your steel out of the bed room and on the stage, looking for new names and faces. Backup help welcome. You will love the old Fiske Theatre and the acoustics.
You may even see and hear some old ghosts from the past. Ol' Tex Ritter may come riding through (what was his horses name?).

Tex's horse's name was "White Flash"...but "Flash" for short. Best of luck on your show, Thanks, Ron Elliott

Bumping up the Oak Grove show June 4, it's coming together nicely, have some outstanding pickers from the AR LA MS area and beyond committed plus a surprise or two. Jack Matthews will be featured guest. Still have some room for top guns as well as those who don't play out much. A good place to get out of the house and on the stage. Show time 10:00 AM til ?? Contact by email and I will pass it on.
