Beginners Notes #206-Half As Mind, How true that is. Hahaha!... Very basic intro idea!

This is not meant to replace any intro already being used. Just an idea generator and maybe a little different look at using your vertical if you drop your 5th string a half tone on a split.

Reading one of the other threads, a good discussion on Diminished chords and a post by Rick Schmidt, Diminished Chords in Gypsy Jazz using the 1-6-3b, I came up with this little idea... At the 5th fret pedals down position, you find the 6th tone on the first string, the Root on the 3rd string and the 3rd tone on the 5th string. Engaging the vertical on my set up flats that third tone. Thanks Rick, our bass player sings this song and has a very deep voice. I'll see if he likes this one.
