I can see why they would want to move it. Ya can't have "dancin'" at the Gospel Barn. It just ain't American. I'll bet it was a hoot while it lasted. Wish they would have a Sunday jam up around my area for all the musicians who work six nights a week playing the same stuff over and over again. It would give some a chance to sharpen their chops.

Sorry to hear that, Ernie. I was looking forward to sitting in again when we return to Florida. Laurie and I both enjoyed it. Great venue, good food, good people and good players. Perhaps we can visit again when you get the new site up and running. Email me directions to the park when you get started there.

Hey Earnie, sorry to hear about that. It would be nice if the Park would let you use the facility there. Call Loren and see if he might have some influence. Larry Mangum was to play at the park this sat nite but was unable to put a band together, so guess what? I've put together a band and am going to bring my Fulawka steel and attempt to play it! If you are'nt busy, come see me make a fool of myself. Lonnie P. Sat May 28th. at the Spirit of the Suwanee.

Lonnie we will be out of town the next 3 weekends, going to Pensacola Fri. afternoon after work, Grandaughter is comming in from japan with great Grandson, and we are going up there to be with them this weekend.
Next week is the Georgia Peach jam, we go on at 11:15, there Saturday.
The following week end or the 18th we will be in Gray Georgia for the first installment of the central steel guitar Jam, we need you at this one to play that great Wallace guitar there with us.
Sure will miss my first time to not be at the Sun Country Jamboree, hope you miss us.
Elma is going with us to both meets, and Carol Nans kin from Montgomery is meeting us there also, you met her at the December Hicks show, she loves country music and is a member of the forum. She is the one I bought the Silvertone from.
Lonnie I played thru the Silvertone at the last Fl. Jam and Lynn Owsley said it sounded great, and several others also made comment of how good it sounded. you will not believe the botton end thru that Jenson speaker and it is not broken in yet.
Jack Conyer says I sound good but no one says I play good except Dr. Bob Strum, boy that sent me to cloud nine.
See you when we get back from all this traveling.

Hey, Ernie, you bet we are going to miss you guys at the Jam. I wish I could go with you, but have to take care of business. If I had plenty of money likr Rob Parker, Bill ferguson, and a few others, I would ride around the country to all these shows. Ya'll be careful on the roads and come back safe. Lonnie P.
