A great olde tune can now be heard on the JERRYBYRD-FANCLUB.com/ website.

It's JERRY BYRD on his olde Rickenbacher Bakelite steel guitar and Jerry Murrads Harmonicats doing an upbeat old swing tune "AT SUNDOWN". http://jerrybyrd-fanclub.com/

I'm normally not a lover of harmonicas but I do miss those days when four or five 'blowers' would put on a show with their variable sized instruments and put on a real show. Great Music!

This is a later recording, NOT Jerry's original on Mercury.

I wasnt a fan of harmonica either, but the chance to hear Charlie Mc coy backed by Russ Hicks was certainly an experience.

I'm fortunate enough to have an ORIGINAL "78 rpm" copy of this recording on Mercury records. It's,also,a "dee-jay" copy. The "B" side is "Harbor Lights" Very Happy

Just follow the above LINK to the JERRY BYRD - Fan Club site.

"AT SUNDOWN" is located at the bottom of the opening or home page. The player is there also.

Hope you'll enjoy it.

Thanks Ray. One of my favorite tunes and a great song.

"All the little birdies resting and feather nesting at sundown..." Wink
