The knob on the top is the type that I also need for the side of the guitar. I believe it to be the tone knob.
It sounded good to me last year when you played it at the show even though it wasn't plugged in. I hope one day to be proficient enough to make beautiful music on her like you can.

How goes it with you these days Mr. Montee? I'm sure glad to see you back on the forum, I was afraid we had lost you there

I sure hope we get to see you this year in Texas at the show? It would be great to see you up in the non-pedal room playing up a storm!
Steve

Your kind words are sincerely appreciated, to be sure. Unfortunately, I'll not be able to make the great Texas Show as I had planned and thus will miss seeing the many friends I've made there.

I don't have any of those flying saucer type knobs but I do have some of the brownish colored Bakelite Knobs with the ARROW on top. Mine would be the next size larger than the ones found on the preWar Ric's.
I'd say they are approximately 1/8 inch great in diameter than the originals. JERRY BYRD had them, I believe it was on his Trot-Mor.

Let me know if I can be of help.
