Dennis, thank you so much, you know I hate to do this but this economy is depleting all of my savings very quickly.

The cabinet is slightly longer, all of the tuning keys are metric, so if you need to make adustments you will have to use metric tools. Aside from that, the difference is minimal compared to a mid 70's Emmons Pushpull. The one i have is a very good sounding guitar, that plays better than my Emmons.

The Promat is a Push Pull... 100% in construction and tone. It is a very well built guitar. Difference is... the Promat is built to metric specs. I have a Promat and rate it as reliable and playable as my Emmons Push Pull.

thank you guys, I didn't want to say anything but you are correct, Bobbe got the tone out of this guitar that I have never heard before, it was, how should I put it, amazing. He said Promat sounds more push/pull than the Emmons. Me and Nick Reed compared this guitar to '66 Emmons bolt on and the first word out of Nick's mouth was "have Bobbe seen this?" ... it played better and sounded better than '66 Emmons. To me there is no better sounding steel guitar on the market today, but that is, of course, just my personal opinion.

This has the emmons set up pedals and knees on it. it is a great sounding playing push pull if you have not seen the work on these or played a promat you are in for a grate awarding supprize amazing steels. Damir is a great person to deal with and this if prised way low because of the economy.

OK, Emmons assumes Es on the left leg...which is fine for me...What I need to know is what the RKs do...Does 1+2 pull?...does 6 lower?...etc..

Just from looking at the picture. The RKL raises 1 a whole. And lowers 6 a whole tone.

The RKR lowers 2 a whole with a 1/2 tone stop and lowers 9 1/2

The 2nd string is not raised.

Damirs computer is still broken and he asked me to announce the guitar has been sold. (to me Very Happy )

I resisted as long as I could, but I really missed the Emmons original I sold some years ago. I think this will do just fine Smile.
