Anybody out there using a Behringer V-Amp Pro with a pedal steel? I have one and I've messed around with it a few times but I think I ever applied it to my steel. Just wondering what settings, if any, would be useful.

I just started playing with a band again after a 2 year hiatus and I'd like to get a little fatter sound than my Nashville 1000 is putting out.

I remember Newman's guitar sounding really big the last time I went to one of his seminars in Dallas. I suppose he had some chorus on it but I can't say for sure.

Gary,,I used a Behringer amp in a studio to do a few tracks..It was just sitting there,,so I plugged in,,tweaked it a little and it sounded great..I don't know what model it was,,but it had a sweet sound..I wouldn't hesitate to use one again...Carson

Was that an actual amp or a rack mount unit? I'm talking about the blue 2-space rack mount unit.

My son has a V-Amp floor model. Its OK, but the pre-amps are pretty noisy, and the volume pedal is too light weight - hard to avoid overcorrection. But for $79 a few christmas's ago, it was great fun.

I dug out my v-amp tonight. I'll mess around with it and see if I can find anything useful.

Nope. I didn't hear ANYTHING I liked for steel. But I did get a Jimmy Hendrix sounding National Anthem.
