***THANKS EVERYONE, FOUND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR***

There have been a few Fessys for sale on the forum lately and I want to put my hat in the ring. I am on the lookout for a used Fessenden SD-10. I'm looking for rosewood or black mica, or wood finish. I'd prefer a TrueTone pickup but I'm flexible on that.

If you have anything in that ballpark you’d think about selling please let me know! I might also be interested in a D-10 depending on the price.

I have a late-2000’s BMI S-10 with a ToneAligner I’d consider including in a trade if that is of interest.

Ray, it's great to hear from a satisfied Fessenden customer. I've played Mullen, Rains, Williams, Franklin, etc. and they were all great guitars in their own ways but nothing really spoke to me the way Fessenden steels do. I just love the way they play and sound. There have been some great deals on the forum here lately and I'm hoping there's another Fessy out there somewhere in my price range.

Lana, if you are not in a big hurry, I just got a D-10 Fessy that I want to make into a SD-10,but it might be 2-3 weeks before I can get it up and running. It will be 3 and 4 and black and I have a Tru-tone pick-up I can put in it. I'm thinking $1450 plus shipping when it is done, but I need to be sure it turns out as well as I hope. In the mean time, keep looking and I'll keep working on this one.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I have found a nice black Fessy with a TrueTone so I am no longer looking. The seller has offered to make the Forum donation so that's on its way.

Mickey, that's a beautiful Fessenden you have there and I have not doubt it will find a nice home soon if it hasn't already. Also, love your videos!!

Thanks again to everyone who reached out.
