The area code in Blackie's part of Riverside county is now 951. 909 is the old one and has been split in half (some are still 909 while others are 951).

Yes, and by the way.... There was a giant surprise birthday (his 75th) party for Blackie last Sunday (5-22-05) at a club in Riverside, California which was pretty well attended. Alot of pickers showed up..The invincable Larry Bales, yes that's right, Larry Bales emceed the event, and it went smoothly. So, if you missed that one, you missed a good one...
