Hello Everybody

Has anyone an idea how to play the solo on Brad's song waiting on a woman in the live version
like in the link below?
i think in section 3:50 Mr. Currie plays hammer ons or pull offs with open strings. is that right?
even i can't figure out the tripplets in the beginning of the solo
in section 3:34

I have been playing this solo for a while...I have it tabbed at home..(I am at work right now)...I can send it to you tonight if you would like. It may not be exactly like the record...but it is real close.

Hey thats a great ride there. It sounds like at 3:50 he is hammering and/or pulling off open string 8 from either fret 3 or 5 at the beginning, but its played pretty fast and I cant tell. Would you mind emailing me your TAB too? Randle is one of my favorite steelers these days. Brad aint too bad himself. Thanks Very Happy

Anyone who wants the TAB just send me an email...Just keep in mind that the TAB that I have created is of the studio recording, not the live version that Reinhard including in the original post. Just send me an email.

Hey Gary, I am currently working on learning the steel fills and breaks to this song from the live album, it may be a while but when I get a chance I will post the tabs.

This is what I hear. Hope it works for you.
Using string 7 raised to "G" and String 6 raised to "A",
these two notes are the drone notes. Then string 5 open, then bar pull offs on string 5 at fret 1, fret 3, fret 5, fret 7, fret 8, fret 10, raise string 5 at fret 10 and slide to fret 11.
Regards, Jay Thompson
