| Most everyone knows about the Country Reunion shows on RFD tv. Mike Johnson does a superb job on steel on that show. They showcase him as well. The piano player is Dirk Johnson. I was told Sunday evening they were brothers. Does anyone know if they are related? Dirk does a great job as well on piano on that show. |

Yes, they are brothers, and they are both fantastic musicians.
I've had many favorite steel players thru the years, but Mike's
been my favorite for a long time. Can't hear enough of him.

Mike is my favorite steel player period!...
He does ride on ricky Scaggs i wouldn't change you if I could...one of the best steel rides I ever heard... Dirk is one of the best piano players arounf also...great talent !... |

Mike, and bass player, Mark are brothers. Dirk isn't related,..But, they all played together in Bill Anderson's band, and on the (TNN) "You Can Be A Star" show.

| Mike played a song from the original Hinsons on the Saturday evening show at the TSGA Jamboree. Dirk used to play piano for the Hinsons. They both are talented men for sure. |
