Most everyone knows about the Country Reunion shows on RFD tv. Mike Johnson does a superb job on steel on that show. They showcase him as well. The piano player is Dirk Johnson. I was told Sunday evening they were brothers. Does anyone know if they are related? Dirk does a great job as well on piano on that show. |

Yes, they are brothers, and they are both fantastic musicians.
I've had many favorite steel players thru the years, but Mike's
been my favorite for a long time. Can't hear enough of him. _________________ aka "Lucky Kay"--Custom built Rittenberry SD10 3X5, Walker S/S, NV-112, and Hilton Pedal |

Mike played a song from the original Hinsons on the Saturday evening show at the TSGA Jamboree. Dirk used to play piano for the Hinsons. They both are talented men for sure. |
