Most everyone knows about the Country Reunion shows on RFD tv. Mike Johnson does a superb job on steel on that show. They showcase him as well. The piano player is Dirk Johnson. I was told Sunday evening they were brothers. Does anyone know if they are related? Dirk does a great job as well on piano on that show.

Yes, they are brothers, and they are both fantastic musicians.
I've had many favorite steel players thru the years, but Mike's
been my favorite for a long time. Can't hear enough of him.

Mike, and bass player, Mark are brothers. Dirk isn't related,..But, they all played together in Bill Anderson's band, and on the (TNN) "You Can Be A Star" show.

Mike played a song from the original Hinsons on the Saturday evening show at the TSGA Jamboree. Dirk used to play piano for the Hinsons. They both are talented men for sure.
