Anyone know what steel player(s) played for Floyd Tillman. In particular on his recording "I Love You Just as You Are?"

I believe on that tune it's Herb Remington (assuming we're talking about the same version, Floyd re-recorded a lot for different labels). There's quite a few from a certain period that feature Herbie very prominently. Great stuff!

Ah! That's got to be Herby! I should have known. His playing is so clean. Thanks, Russ.

Herb has a Cd "Tribute to Floyd Tilman" that is very good. Mine got damaged and I need to get another. Maybe he will bring some to dallas in March.

A fellow named J. D. Stanley did a lot with Floyd too.
