Hi, I got this off of ebay 8 or 9 years ago. The only other one I've seen was on ebay also and had a name badge on it and the serial # was 2 off of mine, 381663, 61 or 65. The seller said these were not imported to the US and was a special order or brought back by someone. Made in Japan Model H-905. Any Idea of year made? Were they sold in the US? Any old catalog info

? It plays and sounds very good to me.
Thanks Dennis

The only ones I've seen have been brought back from Japan by GI's stationed there after World War II. Here's a catalog page from 1965.

I can stil read a bit of Japanese from my five years over there and it's neat to see that on the "hawaian gitaazu" the pickups are referred to as "mics".
