Ron,
I had the set you are inquiring about on a '84 LeGrande for several years, changing to Tonealigners in 2008.
The TrueTone pickups are about the best single coil available. In my house, single coils are very difficult to use because of hum.
Each set of TrueTones are very good single coil pickups. The slight difference in Ohm ratings has no significant affect on tone.
