I was looking at this LDG to buy and don't know what undercarrige it is. Not rack and barrel, doesn't look like 2 hole pullers and its not hex shafts like I've already got.
Anbody tell me what it is and how it compares with the others?
Thanks

It tunes with nylon nuts? The first guitar I learned on, a borrowed LDG, had that kinda deal. I guess it's from later on, I guess late 70s. Every change had its own rod. I never thought anything of it.

I had a Pro I from somewhere in the late 70's with that changer/puller system. Worked great for me.

Dave,

Pro II / III under carriage with 2 hole pullers looks like what you have there. I noticed an interesting use for the bracket that's normally used for the 2nd string half-stop lower. Here is a photo of a mid 70's Pro III that I restored a couple of years ago to give you an idea of what belongs there.

That type of system started in '74. May have been modded as time passed. I don't know, as my cut-off point is '74. Don't know nothin' about these "new" Shobuds! My late '74;

Thanks for all the information.
Lynn, I haven't bought it yet, but if I do, I'll look into your idea on the 2nd string half stop.
It's this one or an S-10 Emmons push pull.
Thanks
Dave
