Hello fellow steel players,
As I was going from gig to gig and packing up fast and furious at the end of the night I was realizing my bars and slides were getting all scratched up.
Since I'm a leatherworker by day I have designed a simple deerskin pouch for multiple bars and slides.
These vary in price depending on the size but range from $40-50, plus shipping.
These are custom made to fit your bars, and you can choose from 3 different colors of deerskin: Golden Yellow, Natural, Black
As these are made to order, they will take 3-4 weeks plus shipping time to deliver.

That is some nice work and I am sure they are durable for the job. However , let me advise you that certain states prohibit any type or parts of an animal to be bought or sold with out a fur trade license. Having run an upholstery shop for the past 7 years , I too wanted to make products from animal hide to sell , but when I looked into the legalities of this I scrapped the idea due to the cost of licensing and other requirements.
Here in Kentucky we have a pamphlet that is printed by the state fish and wild life department that explains all the legalities of selling or purchasing any thing dealing with parts of animals.I dont knoow if Canada does this or not , but a phone call will help you get this info.
Sorry , I am not trying to discourage you in no means by telling you this, only trying to help you . _________________ WILCOX SD10 (love the white mica)

Nice work Brandy.
Out of curiosity, how come your on-line store Soul Moon is in Austin USA but your profile avatar says Winnipeg? _________________ Dennis

Yeah Brandy!
I keep my lap steel bar in one side and my pedal steel bar in the other. It's great.
Very high quality leather work.
Thanks again!

Brandy,
I want to order two of your pouches for steel guitar bars. I do not want to open an account or register with Facebook or Etsy. Help me out here. Send me a PM or e-mail through the Forum and we'll go from there. And last I heard, the animal skin police were not active around Buffalo Gap.
