Just picked this little beauty up and though you would like to see it. The history is that it was built for Bud Eastman in 1985. 7 knees. There is just something about a laquer steel, doncha think?

i like it... i want it...

i'd love to compare the sound of this to my '82 mica job!

i think early to mid 80's zumses may be the best sounding steels ever. for some reason they pre-empted legrandes , jch's, fronklins, etc. and that's good company!

were there many other lacquer zums this early?

Hi David,

Whew...really nice looking geetar you have there!!

Hmmm...I think it may have the wide 2 5/8" pedal spacing. I wonder what kind of pickups are in there?

Hey David, all is not lost, if you bring this guitar over we may be able to save it! I think we can stick some Black Mica on it to cover up that woodgrain, and probably make it sound even better at the same time!!

David, that's what is referred to as Curly Maple. I believe some people just call it Tiger. Beautiful guitar!
