Wow, I've known Bugs for probably 35 years. Sad day. He was in his late 60's fer sure.
Another bit of classic Texas has left us.  |

| I knew Bugs from when I lived in Tyler, TX in the early 70s. He was diagnosed with cancer last year. He was 69 years old. |

I recieved the news last night, such a loss of a true Texas legend. He influenced so many of us here in East Tx, as well as Mouse and Dave Stanley. He was a true bluesman and artist.......God Speed Buggs

RIP Buggs!
We hired Buggs for a dorm mixer that we sponsored back at Texas Tech around '81, at the local National Guard Armoury.
I had not heard of Buggs, being from N.J., but one of our Buddies was familiar with him as he was from Fort Worth.
He and his trio played a great show and everyone enjoyed him. I still have a bunch of the posters we did for the show, with Frankenstein on the them.

RIP Buggs!
