The Radiation Ranch was maybe his best band outside da Cats, but kinda sounds like he flubbed his vocal timing on that first verse here. They did a short but killer set at Live Aid decades back, really nailed this song.

Stephan, good observation!
On "Barbwire Fence" the lead guitar line reminds me of an instrumental I've heard before. Not sure which tune. Something by Duane Eddy maybe?

Yes it does sound familiar, but I think it's too fast to be a Duane Eddie tune. I'm thinking more along the lines of a fiddle tune played on the guitar, like a Roy Clark thing, or maybe even Leon Rhodes... But I can't put my finger on it.
