Hey Walter, I remember what a great time Herb and I had in Austria with you all. The band was spectacular. The response of that rainy night crowd even standing outside the building was awesome. Remember, the echo back from the crowd on Bob Will's "Four-Five Time?
Best wishes to you and your family.
Sincerely, Bob Strum |

Hey Bob,
I will never forget that night! Not only the band was great, also your and Herb's playing was fantastic!
For all you fellows who read this: We had the pleasure to host Herb and Bob for a few days in Austria in 1998, the biggest show was in a place for about 450 people - inside were about 600! What a night!
By the way, Mike Gross is playing some of the track sfrom the live album from that night - if you check his playlist, look for for the band "Route 66 and Herb Remington" at www.swinginwest.com
Kind Regards, Walter

Walter: I wish Roy and I could be there. Wow, would we love to see you and the show! Roy has had pneumonia and is has come back on him. I have also been sick. Sorry about answering your post so late. Please let us all know how it went! We can't wait to see you in St. Louis! Your old friends, Roy and Laurie |
