How do you down load a youtube vidio to a Mac.

I have Firefox 3.6.27 and use DownLoad Helper Plugin https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/ then use Audacity to extract the audio from it. Works great! I'm running Mac OS X 10.4.11 - sometimes being antiquated has it's benefits Smile

If it's an older mac just hit Command/Option/A while the youtube video is playing. That will bring up a window that shows everything running. Find the largest thing, which is typically the video, and double click on it. It should start downloading. Once it's done it will be a .flv file in your downloads folder. You'll have to have VLC Media Player to play it. It's a free program. The new Safari keeps this from working, so hopefully you have an earlier version.
