I've added a Google Translate gadget to the Bobbe's Tips blog. I don't speak anything but English (unless you count Forth and Java Mr. Green), but if some of you Aliens could comment here on the quality of the translations, I'd appreciate it.

Tried translated to Norwegian, and large parts of Bobbe's last became pretty hard to interpret. Sure better than nothing for those Norwegians that don't understand any English - not too many of those BTW, but Google Translate still does a pretty bad job translating English to Norwegian, IMO.

Question: If this is true, wouldnā€™t the Emmons be the first set up and not the Day set up?
Translation:
Frage: Wenn das wahr ist, wƤre nicht die Emmons der erste Satz nach oben und nicht der Tag eingerichtet sein? Laughing Laughing
Translated back:
If this is true, wouldn't be the Emmons the first sentence above and not the Day being installed?

Reminds me of Chancey Gardener's riddles in Being There.

If it's that bad, should I remove it?

I don't know if you should remove it bOb.
One thing that's bad about it is that it doesn't differentiate between names and the meaning a name sometimes has, although they are written with capital letters. Shot was translated with Schuss, Day with Tag, which is of course their meaning in German.
Maybe it's better than nothing, but you need some basic knowledge of the situatation to make sense of it. Maybe wait until other foreign Forum members give their opinions.

My 2. : I don't think it's needed. This is because those interested in steel also know enough English to do "steelspeak". They have learned it through necessity. Plus, the vast majority of Europeans and Asians learn English form grade 4 on.
On the other hand, for the precious few who don't know at all, Google translator is somewhat better than nothing so you may as well leave it on.
