After the Board Meeting on Saturday we have set-up the jam date.
March 24th load in about 8 AM and go till we get tired (about 4 PM)
Bring your steel and join in or just come enjoy.

Margie and I had a great time at the Jam and enjoyed getting to to see friends we hadn't seen for a couple years. The room was full of some of the most beautiful and well made steels. Several Infineon Steels I had never seen and several Justice and Desert Rose, MSA, Emmons, Fesenden, Mullen,and some lap steels were there as well. Billy Eastons Sho-Bud Super Pro was a delight too see and hear, I enjoyed meeting some new players who all picked well. There must have been at least twenty steels to oogle over and almost that many pickers. The back up band included a few guitar players and bass players and drummer were all excellent. I was especialy glad to get to play with Denny Sarver again. He is my hero. I want to thank Billy, Troy, Joe their wives and all the staff of the SWSGA for the opportunity to play at the Jam. The Sheraton Crescent hote for the place to have the jam and all the wonderful players that came to pick. I was disapointed that my friends Chuck and Marilyn Back couldn't make it this time. I renewed my membership while I was there and look forward to the next happening.

Had a few people join that were not members yet so we just keep growing.
After the meeting the board locked down that hotel for 2013 and 2014 -
That building we had the jam in will be used for the lap steel sessions next year - Great stage and lots more room.
