What is the preferred position of the strings on SD-10?
Level
Tilted or sloping toward the front
Tilted or sloping toward the back

Almost all the time, on a horizontal instrument played with a bar, as close to level as you can manage makes your life easier.

Clark, there's one determining factor: your right hand wrist MUST NEITHER DIP NOR ARCH as you transition from arm to hand. If it does, extended playing time (like three or four 45 minute sets) will cause binding, numbness, etc. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
