Your right Ron, it is the best gig you would ever want ...he's a link to Dave's radio show...

Had a great show last night in Gladewater, packed house, Ol friend Mike Wright and his wife was there, he came thinking maurice was there Laughing .. I got him on that one!!!!...this was a small band last night .. but let me tell you is was Great!!..
something else I would like to say, damm near all things I play the sound guy wants to mike EVERYTHING on the bandstand, Dave says NO, we had a the best sound I ever heard, you can hear each player play, from the band stand, when it's your turn to play everyone else is just below you, it's hard to explain, but damm, it works, we had almost 300 people there, nice size room... I have to pinch myself all night, wondering if this a dream..I've always said to be a better player, you need to work with players better than yourself, that way your always trying to get to there level, and that's when you learn... most every guy on the band is a North Texas Grad, jazz players....If Dave is ever anywhere near you Go see him, the is a true pro in every since...and most likely you will get to hear Maurice playing with him., and that is a treat in it self....)))..

Heres some pictures, The pretty blonde is Dave's wife, Sherry, She is a wonderful painter and sets up her works at the shows, sold 2 big paintings last night!!. we had gas money for the bus!!! and food money!! Very Happy

Nice pics Dave . I bet you did have a blast . I had the pleasure of getting to play behind Dave last year . A friend near Tyler has a big cookout each year and last year Dave came and did 8 or 10 songs with our band .Brought his horns with him and we had a great time.Such a pro and super nice guy to boot.
