I get over 20 a day. They go right to my deleted folder, so no big deal. There's nothing in the body asking for info or to unsubscribe, just a statement about the changes in policy. Here's the header:
Changes to Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
Any thoughts?

Go into your POP3 email account settings and make sure you have not checked the option to leave a copy of messages on the mail server.
If your email client is Microsoft Outlook or Windows Live Mail, the mail handling options are:
Leave a copy of messages on server,
Remove from server after (x) days,
and
Remove from the server when deleted from Deleted Items.
Be sure you save and changes via the "Apply" button. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum

They aren't in the Verizon email but come directly to Thunderbird. There's one in the junk folder but won't let me delete it, saying it's in use by another operation. What's that all about????
added: I closed Thunderbird and the email is gone from junk. Let's see what happens.
added: it's ok now |
