Hi all,
I'm offering my Melobro reso for sale. This is a ROUNDneck model, and one of the last roundnecks that Ted built before he shut things down.
Quarterman cone, ebony board, Grovers, rosewood baffles. Warm, woody, tone with a big sound.
This guitar is as close to new as you'll find in a used instrument. Never gigged. On the bottom of the guitar are a couple of very small spots where rubber from a guitar stand reacted with the lacquer. You can't really see them, but you can feel them if you run your finger over them. They are not a big deal, but I'm mentioning them because, well...they are there.
The guitar needs nothing and is ready to play. I have it set with a medium action for both bottleneck and fingerstyle playing. It comes with the SKB case it arrived in. The case is in like-new condition. If you do a search here, you'll find plenty of posts from Jeff Peterson and others who have been blown away by the sound of these resonators.
I am hoping to keep this sale local to the Nashville area. I would be willing to drive a short distance to meet someone.
