Hello all,
I just want to post a personal note of thanks to everyone for their prayers, monetary aid and assistance with me continuing playing gigs. Personal thanks to Jerry Rich, for the loan of his Zum steel the night after mine was stolen, to Marty Neer for the loan of his Zum steel for the last several weeks, Ray Qualls for the loan of his amp,( which I am still using). I have recieved many emails from good people on the loss of my guitar. I cant even fathom the thought of having to deal with this situation without my brothers and sisters in the steel guitar community. I have been lucky enough to purchase a wonderful Dekley guitar, that has tone and sustain that just wont quit. I had never played one before I purchased this one and let me tell you what a guitar. A very personal thanks to Mary and her family from Z's Place in Dolittle Missouri for their monetary support, To Bill for his quest to help me find another guitar. To my brothers the Smiths Brothers, who I have been so lucky to work with the last 2 years for their support. A quick update. I spoke to the Detective in charge of the case last week. He told me he thinks the equipment is still in the local area, but did not give any furthur information at this time.
From my Heart,
Thankyou Everyone,
Douglas Hudson

Just wanted to say Doug, you sounded great on that Dekley yesterday at our monthly meeting. Also, thanks for finding me that DVD recorder. I'm anxious to get started on it. Its good to have "good" friends. Later, Ray |
