Tone with different speakers

I have used 1501-4s in my cabs for yrs , and last night I used my 1503-8s . I was verry surprised . I liked the tonal response with these as much as the others. I was expecting a darker tone beacuse of the kevlar cones but it was realy smooth.I use a REV preamp and a Crown XTI 2000 amp.Have any of you tried this these speakers? Smile
