I watched a special on Buddy Holly and several songs included a steel break. I wondered if anyone saw it and knew who was playing steel. It kind of surprised me to see a steel in a rock and roll tribute with all those rockers.

The steeler was Doug Livingston, a/k/a Earnest Bovine.
